Documents, personal belongings and operational equipment should have clear handling boundaries.

Walkways and agreed floor areas

Mark the floor zones included in the request, their surface condition and the routes cleaning equipment can use. Pallets, stored goods and equipment may reduce the accessible area. If a zone cannot be made available as agreed, its cleaning schedule or scope must be reviewed. Cleaning staff should not be expected to work around uncontrolled vehicle movements.

Define work that needs separate assessment

General warehouse cleaning does not automatically include hazardous spill response, chemical handling, high-rack cleaning, machinery maintenance or product handling. Identify unusual residues, restricted areas and damaged surfaces before a proposal is prepared. Those conditions may require separate arrangements rather than an ordinary cleaning visit.
